At present we are constructing the final two-storey rammed earth and timber
apartment block containing 8 apartments at Earthsong, a co-housing community
located in Ranui, West Auckland.
Earthsong is spread over 4 acres and houses 32 households as a model of 'social
sustainability' in an urban location.
The neighbourhood has been designed to the highest practical standards of an
environmentally sustainable human settlement, including the layout and design
of the neighbourhood and buildings, the choice of materials, landscaping, and
services.
